Flowers - trumpet-shaped - white - 5.5cm - up to 8 per umbel
Location - W. New Guinea: Main Range from Mt Carstensz to the Hellwig Mts - 2000-3450m
Epithet - either named after Lake Habbema where originally collected or after D. Habbema, after whom the lake was named.

Leaves - broadly elliptic - 9 x 3.5cm
Flowers - zygomorphic, curved tubular -red - 5.5cm - up to 10 per umbel
Location - W. New Guinea: near Wamena, Lake Habbema - 3000-3225m
Epithet - "haemat" = blood red; "opthalmum" = eye; referring to the colour of the flowers.

Epithet - after F. C. Hellwig, 1861-1889, one of the first to collect this species.

Sarawak: Mt. Mulu, Mt. Api, Mt. Murud; Indonesia: Kalimantan: Mt. Kingkemul - 1300-2000m
Epithet - alluding to the narrow strap-like leaf shape
